Why not Greatness?

Why not Greatness?

Great companies evolve in bad times. Just ask Larry Page and Sergey Brin, co-founders of Google. They started what has since been dubbed, “the best company in the world,” during dot.com bubble bust. That’s inspiration enough to get through today’s bleak economic environment and news of financial implosion and global market crumbles.

I know it is hard. Easier still to whine, complain and groan, but the world never waits for economic grievers as it does for those who approach the affairs of business with a solid dose of pragmatism and a smattering  of optimism. Just ask Honda, who manufactured a van that looks like the SUV but which saves for days on gas. In doing so they outsmarted and ‘out-profited’ their Detroit located competitors who built giant gas guzzlers and saw their profits dip.
