How To Pack A Perfect Salad In A Jar

Quick. If I asked you what is the main ingredient that you put into your salad, would you say lettuce? Spinach? But what if I told you that these greens should be regarded only as fillers and that your salads can be filled with a mix of textures and flavours without even one leaf of green in it. The trick is to get creative with your ingredients, prep them ahead of time and then store them in these amazing mason jars where everything stays separate and dressing-free until you toss it onto your plate. Even better, your salads will last 3-4 days so you can make batches of them at a time. In this episode of Forward Forty TV I’ll show you how to make 2 amazing salads in a jar. You won’t ever see your salads the same way again.

    • Thanks so much Ann Marie, you don’t have to put dressing if you don’t want to, it really is a matter of preference. In west Trinidad, they can be found D Rite Stuff in West Mall.
